In the semi (possibly-in-name-only) spoof of “The Devil Wears Prada”, Daniel Dakota, director of nearly thirty adult films between 2003 and 2008, plunders an old “Twilight Zone” storyline for another quickie about a guy who sells his soul to the devil in return for fame and success with the ladies. In a way this feels more like a porno-remake of the Harold Ramis film “Bedazzled” only without the fun or competent lighting.

Steven St. Croix appears as the sly-talking Lucious aka Lucifer (obviously standing in for Elizabeth Hurley – yuck), persuading a nerdy office boy, James Deen (standing in for Brendan Fraser), to sell him his soul in return for the promise of turning him into a charmer extraordinaire and a chance at future romance with the girl of his dreams (Ava Rose). St. Croix illustrates his other wordly ability by previewing for Deen a bunch of sex footage, which somehow plays out sometimes in his real time and sometimes in a different space and dimension. It’s an old trick used by pornographers to assimilate a bunch of stand-alone footage into a narrative in a way that it fits. Sometimes it works but most often, as in here, it doesn’t.

The casting of James Deen in the role of geeky, sister-spying, bumbling, virgin who fawns of his office co-worker, doesn’t really work mainly because once the clothes come off, he’s in total stud mood. Tom Byron, who made a career out of playing these dweeby types, was able to stay in character even during sex, often fumbling around and playing it up. Here, Deen plays it to a point but then pulls back. Adult film critic, T.S. Domino, was the first to point out the mis-casting of Deen in his short but brilliant Rancho Carne review.

Deen isn’t much impressed with St. Croix’s ability to pop into his office from his monitor, nor his guarantees of future accomplishments with the ladies, however, even he can’t explain how St. Croix was able to predict that two of his co-workers Tyler Faith and Ava Rose (his dreamgirl) would skip off to a vacant office for an afternoon rug munching session. Apparently under St. Croxi’s spell, Ava (shoulder length, poofy black hair, sultry, thin, black stockings, garter belt and high heels) and Faith (blonde, thin, sexy, black stockings and black high heels) devour each other, screwing themselves with dildos, fingers and tongues all over a small office couch.

Things start off hot but slowly fizzle out when Faith fastens a strap-on to her body and proceeds to screw Ava reverse cowgirl and missionary. Yawn. Another office co-worker, Jezebelle Bond {long jet black hair, shaved pussy, getting thick waist, medium tits that look nice, tattoo below navel, tramp stamp, inside right wrist, right upper arm}, dressed in a black leather bra, panties and knee high leather high heels boots, grabs Deen’s attention next away from his otherworldly guest. No wonder. She’s dressed like a stripper in a downtown office. Anyway, all silliness aside, Bond does her ‘real job’ and gyrates on a couch until Marco Banderas arrives to give her something to play with. It’s all the standard positions and it’s all very mechanical and poorly lit: blowjob, doggy, cowgirl, missionary and standing doggy ending with Marco dribbling his load into her open mouth and across her face.

Steven St. Croix next conjures up some girls for himself. Aubrey Addams (smallish real tits, getting thick waist, pink wig, yellow bikini and yellow high heels) and Mindy Main (medium sized fake tits, tramp stamp, shaved pussy, blue wig, black leather skirt, black stockings, high heels) suddenly appear. Aubrey is locked in a cage, something that the man-hating anti-porn crowd will surely eat up. After Mindy lets Aubrey out, the two kiss and snuggle. Steven St. Croix, also in a cage (don’t worry, the anti-porn crowd doesn’t care about what happens to the men in porn, cuz they are all bad mkay), is soon set free to let the gals swallow up his sausage. Main’s classy attempts at deep gagging in sixty nine nearly result in the crew cleaning up vomit. Hot. He trades off the puss holes in doggy and reverse cowgirl and cowgirl. He screws Main (his favorite) in missionary, blasting off across her tummy. Aubrey licks it up. Poorly lit and mechanical. At least Dakota is consistent.

The next day, at a bar, Steven St. Croix attempts to show a mystified James Deen the pleasures of anal sex. Of course, Deen takes it the wrong way, shouting, “I’m not going to have anal sex with you!” Of course, that’s not at all what St. Croix was referring to, and proceeds to pop up Chelsie Rae {long blonde hair, thin, smallish tits, moderately cute, shaved pussy, pink fishnet shirt, yellow fishnet stockings and pink high heels} and Anthony Hardwood (muscular, awesome, wearing sunglasses). After Anthony rims and eats Rae and she in  turn swallows his cock, they move into the sex and it’s fairly erotic, for the most part. Chelsie seems to enjoy bouncing her box off of Hardwood’s cock in reverse cowgirl and cowgirl. They both have nice bodies so watching them impacting at top speed is rather amusing. In the closer, there’s a big plot twist that wraps things up rather nicely. As it turns out, Deen’s dream girl, Ava Rose, is actually an angel – a Southern Angel, who, with some piss-poor special effects, manages to send St. Croix back to hell

The sultry Ava Rose is dressed in sexy white negligee with a diamond collar around her neck that, fittingly, spells out S-E-X-Y. She joins Deen on the bed for some fingering and oral fun which turns into a romantic screw in missionary, flying missionary, cowgirl and reverse cowgirl. A final turn in doggy sends Deen to the edge and he climaxes across Ava’s pretty face and into her open mouth. She gives him some post cum head. They snuggle in bed afterwards, and Ava reveals that she has twin sisters that are going to come down from heaven and screw him for eternity. Huh? Silly.

During the ending credits scroll, St. Croix improvises a bunch of dialogue that is both amusing and hilarious, most notable is his lamenting his decision to put Bush and Blair in power. Damn! No he didn’t.
